A Prayer Remembered

A friend of mine, a former Roman Catholic (but now a very good Lutheran) is going through a very challenging time now and though it's been years since she has attended a Catholic Mass, she remembered this prayer the priest would say after the Lord's Prayer at Mass. I think it's beautiful

Deliver us, Lord, from every evil and
grant us peace in our day.
In your mercy, keep us free from sin
and protect us from all anxiety
as we wait in joyful hope
for the coming of our Savior, Jesus Christ.
